In Ireland

• GridPP20 Conference (11-12 March 2008)
  GridPP is a collaboration of Particle Physicists and Computing Scientists from 19 UK universities, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and CERN, who are building a Grid for Particle Physics. Funded by the government, through STFC, it is the UK's contribution to the international collaboration building a worldwide Grid, the LCG. This 20th GridPP conference is hosted by the School of Computer Science and Statistics, Trinity College Dublin.
• PIC Workshop on Simulations of Relativistic Collisionless Shocks (19-23 May 2008)
  PIC Workshop on Simulations of Relativistic Collisionless Shocks, DIAS, with tutorials at the Department of Computer Science, Trinity College Dublin, including e-Learning modules about the Grid.
• NRENS-N-Grids 7th Workshop, 1-2 Sept, Trinity College Dublin
  The purpose of the NRENs and Grids workshops is to bring together members of the NREN community with members of Grid projects in order to understand the common issues for these communities and to seek agreements and recommendations. TERENA has been running the NRENs and Grids workshops since May 2005.
• OpenMPI Workshop, 1-2 Sept, Trinity College Dublin
  This is a working meeting of the OpenMPI community, run in advance of the PVMMPI 2008 Conference at UCD that takes place from 7-10 September, 2008.
• EELA-2 Tutorial, 15-18 Sept, Trinity College Dublin
  EELA-2 Workshop, 19 Sept, Trinity College Dublin
  The EU FP7 EELA-2 project promotes the establishment of Grid infrastructures spanning the EU and the Latin Americas. This is the 2nd in the series of EELA Grid Schools.
