SQL course released

An adaptive course on the SQL database query language has been released at http://www.grid.ie/elgrid/

An adaptive Grid eLearning course on Structured Query Language (SQL) has been released for the eLGrid system at http://www.grid.ie/elgrid/.

This course complements the existing R-GMA course as SQL is used to manipulate the R-GMA virtual database.

There are now five courses available at http://www.grid.ie/elgrid/

• GridCerts - Getting a Grid Certificate
• grid_intro - Introduction to the Grid
• rgma-intro - Introduction to the Relational Grid Monitoring Architecture (R-GMA)
• JDL - The Job Description Language (JDL)
• SQL - Databases and the Structured Query Language (SQL)

This work has been funded by the CosmoGrid consortium and draws on educational materials produced by the EGEE and ICEAGE projects and technology developed by the Department of Computer Science, Trinity College Dublin.
