e-INIS obtains PRTLI4 funding

The DIAS-led national facility, e-INIS, which includes ICHEC, Grid-Ireland and HEAnet as major partners, will be funded under PRTLI-4.
On 3rd August, 2007, Mary Hanafin, Minister for Education and Science, announced funding for research programmes under the Government’s Programme for Third Level Research in Third Level Institutions – PRTLI Cycle 4. The DIAS-led national facility, e-INIS, which includes ICHEC, Grid-Ireland and HEAnet as major partners, received funding to provide computational, networking and support infrastructure for Ireland's research community.
